XEffects Messages are a set of Final Cut Pro X plugins that emulate an onscreen conversation via SMS, iMessage, Facebook and WhatsApp.

NEW! Messages 2 adds tracking to individual messages and message conversations 

All elements animate automatically. The push up is directly linked to the adjustable height of the message. Overlays for top and bottom status & icon sets are included.

Pre-built colour options are included, along with all of the Google Materials palette. All text, boxes and background can be custom coloured.

Tutorials

In these tutorials. we look at using Messages within Final Cut Pro X. One key point here, remember to make a compound clip out of the message stack to avoid the background moving as well.

XEffects Messages is installed through the FxFactory plugin management system. No purchase is necessary to install or use the free trial.
